Why I built this.
Not because clinicians lack skill, veins are genuinely hard to see. The devices that make them visible cost $500 to $850, pricing out exactly the clinics and field programs that need them most.
Infrared optics. Expensive, delicate, hard to manufacture cheaply. I wanted to know if there was a fundamentally different way to find a vein, one that didn't start with an optical sensor.
A skilled clinician partly finds veins by feel. I built a sensor array that does the same thing mechanically, then tested it until the data backed it up: 93.3% detection accuracy, under $100 to build.
I'm building the AI layer that takes this from single-point detection to a full predictive map, while working through validation, patent filing, and getting it into the hands of the people who need it.
